Full-Time Laborer 

Little Egg Harbor Township is seeking qualified candidate for a Full-Time Laborer for the Department of Public Works.

POSITION SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Department of Public Works, the FT Laborer duties would include, but are not limited to, performing manual labor and heavy lifting; road maintenance and paving; grass cutting and grounds maintenance; shoveling and raking; stormwater system maintenance; snow plowing and snow removal; and other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications AND REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) preferred. Applicants who do not currently possess a Class B CDL must be able to obtain one within one year of employment.
  • Ability to perform physical labor, including heavy lifting, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

COMPENSATION
$19.35/hr plus excellent benefits package including health insurance, pension, and paid time off.
