Brief Biography:
Brian E. Rumpf was a member of the Little Egg Harbor Township Committee and serving as Mayor from 2000 through 2003. Assemblyman Rumpf has served in the New Jersey State General Asssembly since 2003 and is a member of the Law & Public Safety Committee and the Consumer Affairs Committee for the State Assembly.
Brian is happily married to Debra and is the proud father of Justin and Kassidy. Brian moved to Little Egg Harbor Township in 1992. He and Debra own a home in the Nugentown section of the township. Brian's chief hobby these days is spending time with his family. He enjoys accompanying Justin to his soccer games and Kassidy to her dance lessons.
Brian is a graduate of Catholic University and Washington and Lee University School of Law. Brian and Deb, who is also an attorney, own and manage their own law firm located in the Mystic Island section of the township. Brian previously worked for a law firm that specialized in municipal and land use law and has participated in the Diplomate of Municipal Law Program sponsored by Rutgers University.
Brian has made open government and community pride the foundation for his public service. Brian also created the “Proud to Live in Little Egg Harbor” campaign in order to inspire community pride and spirit.
Brian belongs to numerous local organizations including the Great Bay Police Athletic League, Southern Ocean County Hospital Board of Trustees, Italian American Club, Mystic Island Community Association (MICA Club), and Sunshine Foundation. Brian's present and former professional affiliations include the American Bar Association, New Jersey Bar Association and Ocean County Bar Association.
