Little Egg Harbor's Township Administrator and Chief Financial Officer, Raymond J. Urezzio, has ties to this community that go back over 30 years. He and his wife, Paula, chose to make Little Egg Harbor their permanent residence. Their two pampered Shih Tzus, Nugie and Noel, also give their paw of approval of this town.
Mr. Urezzio brings to this position years of related professional business experience. Prior to relocating to New Jersey, he held various positions with Manhattan Savings Bank in New York, including Chief Internal Auditor as well as Vice-President of Operations.
His educational background includes a degree from the Graduate School of Savings Banking, Brown University; a Bachelors degree in Business from Pace University; and an Associate in Applied Science degree in Business and Banking from Westchester Community College, Valhalla, NY. Ray is a graduate of the Executive Development Program at Fairfield University as well as a graduate of the American Institute of Banking, New York, NY.
Prior to his appointment as Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Urezzio held the positions of Assistant Township Administrator and Assistant Municipal Treasurer. As a prerequisite to becoming Chief Financial Officer, he successfully completed substantial course work and, ultimately, passed New Jersey's rigorous licensing exam, receiving his designation as a Certified Municipal Financial Officer.
He is a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 316 of Little Egg Harbor as well as a member of the American Legion. Mr. Urezzio served as past Treasures of the Southern Ocean Chapter of the Sunshine Foundation of Little Egg Harbor. He is currently serving as Treasurer and Trustee of the Great Bay Regional Emergency Medical Service (EMS) and is a certified EMS volunteer.
Mr. Urezzio and his wife, Paula, are water enthusiasts and can be seen on weekends boating and fishing off the shores of Little Egg Harbor. All-in-all, Little Egg Harbor is the perfect community in which to live.
