The mayor in Little Egg Harbor Township is chosen annually by the Township Committee from among the Committee's five members. Under this form of government the Mayor is not elected directly by the citizens.

The Township Committee formally meets on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month at 8:00 p.m. in the courtroom at the Administrative Justice Complex, 665 Radio Road, Little Egg Harbor Township. The Township meetings are open to the public.

Board of Health - Meets quarterly on the fourth Tuesday of the month at 7:00 p.m.
Economic Development Comm. - Meets quarterly on the first Monday of the month at 7:00 p.m.
Environmental Commission - Meets the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m.
Natural Lands Trust Committee - Meets the second Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m.
Senior Citizen Advisory Committee - Meets the last Monday of each month at 10:00 a.m.
