Memorial Day Weekend Events

9:30am Saturday, May 24th. The Placing of more than 600 American Flags on the graves of Veterans interred at Green Street Cemetery.
Meet at the American Legion Post by 9:30 for donuts and coffee.
This activity takes around 3 to 4 hours to complete. Sandwiches will be provided at the Post afterwards.
8:00am Sunday, May 25th. Services will be conducted in cooperation with VFW Post 316, with Color Guard and Firing Party, at the following locations: Times are approximate:
9:30 Tip Seaman's Park, 9:45 New Gretna Monument and Cemeteries, 10:45 Green Street Cemetery, 11:15 West Creek Cemetery, 11:30 Sleepy Hollow Cemetery, 12:30 VFW Post 316, 1:00 American Legion Post Home.
MEMORIAL DAY PARADE DAY
Monday, May 26th. is the Annual Parade from the LEHT Community Center at 316 W. Calabreeze Way to the Pulaski Monument, with the parade kicking off at 11:00am. (If you are participating in the parade and all Color Guard meet at the Post Home by 10:00am for color Guard and Firing Party Assignments.) The Parade is followed up with an Open House at the Post.
