Welcome to the LEHT Community Page. The applications in this corner of our web site help you to learn more about our community. you also have the opportunity to participate in the virtual community by adding content to the LEHT web site. Each of the community applications are described below. Read them one at a time or click on a link below which takes you straight to a specific application description. Click on a link on the left to go directly to an application.
The white pages are designed to be much like telephone white pages. You can enter contact information including your email address. Valid personal listing are welcome.
When creating your entry, you will be asked for a password. The password allows you the edit your entry at some point in the future. We suggest that you review and update your listing twice a year.
A newly enter posting is first reviewed by an administrator and subsequently released for general viewing. The review process typically takes less than a week. The administrator reserves the right to edit or reject any posting.

Yellow page entries are especially designed as a forum for local area businesses to tell us about themselves and their products or services. Listing in the yellow pages does not represent an endorsement of the company, product, or service by LEHT. The yellow pages are supplied for information purposes only.

A guest book is an application where you can enter comments about this web site, the community, or anything else that you interests you. Your comments are there for the world to see, so be discerning with your postings.

The community Calendar of Events lists events of local interest by date. The initial listing is for the current month. You may select the month of your choice. The title of scheduled events will appear in the appropriate day of the month. You may click on a title for a more detailed description.
You can add your own items to the Community Calendar of Events. So add you events of local interest such as garage sales, reunions, fundraising events, and so on.

Memorial Day Weekend is an exceedingly busy time for our Legion Family.
On Saturday, May 24th., we will place more than 600 American Flags on the graves of Veterans interred at Green Street Cemetery. We will meet at the Post by 9:30am for donuts and coffee prior to starting. This activity takes anywhere from 3 to 4 hours to complete, depending on the number of people helping out. Sandwiches will be provided at the Post afterwards.
On Sunday, May 25th. we will conduct Servics, in cooperation with VFW Post 316, with Color Guard and Firing Party, at the following locations:
Tip Seaman's Park 9:00 AM
New Gretna Monument 9:45 AM
and Cemeteries
Green Street Cemetery 10:45 AM
West Creek Cemetery 11:15 AM
Sleepy Hollow Cemetery 11:30 AM
VFW Post 316 12:30 PM
Post Home 1:00 PM
The above noted times are approximate. We will meet at the Post at 8:00AM for coffee and assignment of positions.
Monday, May 26th., is the Annual Parade from the LEHT Community Center on W. Calabreeze Way to the Polaski Monument, with the Parade kicking off at 11:00AM. (Color Guard & Firing Party Meet at the Post Home by 10:00 for
assignments.)
